Seems like discussion on this kind of stopped alltogether. I am a new
2250
owner and can confirm that with the latest drivers I can record 1 analog
and
one digital at the same time. I can record 2 analog at the same
time, but
any attempt to record 2 digital at the same time resorts in the
second
recording becoming a 0 byte file. I set debug=1 on the saa7164
module to
see if that garnered any information but I get nothing from that
setting
being logged when the recordings start.

This being said, I am on a 2.6.35 kernel and do get notices that the
drivers
are backported etc.

Does anyone have this card working with the latest drivers (i.e. with
analog
support) that is successfully recording 2 digital recordings at a
time? If
so, can you tell me what kernel you are using and perhaps what
mythtv
distribution?

Thanks!

Tim

I am having the same problem with my system.

hdhomerun with most recent firmware.
mythtv-backend-0.24-270.fc13.i686
# uname -r
2.6.34.8-68.fc13.i686

4 disk RAID5 in XFS (3TB)

3GB memory

My family is getting very grumpy. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Solved.

Comcast, here in the San Francisco Bay area, arbitrarily changed the
channel frequencies. Re-scanning with scte65scan and updating mythconverg
has solved the problem.
