i too have a tbs6981 but it's working fine.<br>i've just tested BBC HD and BBC One HD simultaneously aswell as watch an SD recording - works fine for me!<br><br>since reading your post, the one thing that has stuck in my head is a possible hardware issue; lack of power/speed.<br>
cpu - underpowered<br>ram are you in dual-channel mode? - an issue on the Atom based boards when running only a single stick of ram.<br>HDD - how fast?<br><br>for reference, im on an intel core2duo E6550, 2gb DDR2 (1 stick), and a 7200rpm 16mb cache SATA drive.<br>
