<p>I don't understand the relevance of this as Mythbuntu uses XFCE and linhes hides any desktop from the user. </p>
<p>While any distribution could be used for myth, all recommendations so far are for the original poster to stick to a myth specific distribution.</p>
<p>Btw, XFCE looks much like gnome 2.<br>
