Greetings

I've recently installed Mythbuntu 12.04 with MythTV 0.25 on an AMD 64 PC. There's tiny bit of weirdness with MythTV Backend Setup:

Applications -> System -> MythTV Backend Setup

Dialog box appears:

"Mythbackend must be closed before continuing. Is it OK to close any currently running mythbackend processes?"

I click "Yes".

Dialog for password: I enter password and click OK.

The program launches and immediately displays an error dialog:

***
WARNING: The backend is currently running.

Changing existing card inputs, deleting anything, or scanning for channels may not work.

Recording status: None.

Stop backend and continue
Continue
Exit
***

I select "Stop backend and continue".

Do whatever and exit MythTV Backend Setup.

Dialog box: "Please enter your current login password to start mythtv-backend."

I do this and everything seems to have worked OK. A small bug here?

-FBP

I get this 80% of the time I go into the backend setup, never seems to have effected anything for me, so guess it is just an erroneous error message

Cheers

Martin
