If your going Mac Mini, then your not going to have a discrete GPU. These days, even the cheapest new processors are adequate to play just about everything in software... why not eliminate the discrete GPU altogether, there are tons of silent cpu coolers. Once you make that jump it opens a world of mini-itx builds that will rival the Mac Mini for noise, if not for size.

Hi,

It's time for a new frontend for me. My current one, a small ACER case with a low profile 430 (with fan) is just too damn noisy. It's going to my son for games.

I'm looking for either a small form factor that can take a full size fanless NVidia card, or maybe a new Mac Mini.

Has anyone had experience running the frontend only n a new mac Mini with an Intel HD4000?
