Thanks for the info, I think that the other user has the PCIE version of my tuner, not that I would think it would matter... Maybe there is some other settings that he changed??? As far as I remember I only changed one setting on mythbackend and it was for HDRingBufferSize (14100)

First a way to skip all subtitle processing can be done by adding the "--noextratracks" command line option. Example:
> /usr/bin/lossless_cut -f "%DIR%/%FILE%" -m "/path to save cut mkv video file" --noextratracks

Ilooked at thepastebin on this latest recording you tried to lossless cut. The issue is highly likely that thecut and merge utility "mkvmerge" has issues with your recordings. As you noted mkvmerge processing works for a while as indicated bythe percentages then skips right to end when it hits an issue.
Unfortunately I do not have any other suggestionsrelated to the Lossless Cut scripts. You may want to try Avidemux to see if you can manually cut your recordings. That is what I used before developing the Lossless Cut scripts.
Here is what a clean lossless cut log looks like:
I am still surprised that the other user, which had the same recording device, did not have issues. There may be an outside chance that he uses different device recording settingsbut I do not have that device so I am guessing. Do you have options to change recording settings like "variable" bit rates to something else? Maybe if he posted his Lossless Cut log we could see a difference between his and your recording metadata. To make sure the log does not get deleted you can add a "-k" to the command line.
