MythTV Official Wiki:Protected page guidelines

Certain pages on the MythTV wiki are protected, and can only be edited by people in the Sysop group (or with some other approprite permission granted them). This is done to avoid vandalism to high-traffic pages like the front page, and to stablize occasional pages like Policy pages, so that they're only modified after a concensus is reached.

If you are in this group (which is the primary reason you might be looking at this page), remember that if you're editing such a page, lots of people are going to see it -- our Main page had over 50,000 hits in the first month the site was online -- and use caution in what you change.

And please remember to preview your edits and write a good summary comment.
