I believe the missing piece for me is the installation of ivtv. I followed another thread, referring to an earlier (6.06) version of Ubuntu, but I seemed to be missing some of the files he said I'd have.

Can someone help me with this for my PVR-150 card?

Seriously. MythTV is rather useless without hardware. This thing needs at least a mention of the three major types of cards (ivtv/hauppauge cards, digital cards, framegrabbers) and where to go for the drivers. --Dagmar @ Fri Jan 5 00:49:53 CST 2007
