Talk:Using an IR Blaster with MythTV

From MythTV Official Wiki

Offsite link #4 appears to have been taken over (or more likely, simply taken after domain expiry) by a domain squatter. No useful info there anymore.

broken links unreadable now

I don't follow this Howto. seems that the HOWTO part is missing. just the links are the meat. The troubleshooting sections is odd with the HOWTO part missing.

I am going to rework this page entirely to make it more of an overview with links.

Any objections then just fix it as you see fit.

MCE Remote rc6

I am sorry to say I had to give up on MythTV after I received a Motorola Set Top Box from my cable company. Making the blaster work is just to complicated, and I don't even know if it is possible.

I now run Windows Media Center, which works great, but I miss the advanced video compression options + I hate the proprietary video format.

Removed receiver link

Removed the link to the DIY receiver, since it's not a blaster:

 * DIY - with parts from Radio Shack. [1]
