My MythTV Setup

I have a distributed system set up with a single master backend, and several frontends, and am currently using MythTV 0.20.2.

Backend and Main Frontend

• Custom Built machine
• Gentoo - 2.6.23 kernel
• Intel Pentium 4 3.2 with HyperThreading
• 1 gig memory
• 250 gig IDE for root
• 2x 300 gig SATA
  • One for MythVideo
  • One for Backup of other computers on network
• Hauppauge PVR-500 cards for analog recording
• DVD Reader
• DVD Burner

NES Frontend

• Custom Built machine
• Gentoo - 2.6.23 kernel
• VIA EPIA MII
• VIA C3 Nehemiah (i686) @ 1 GHz
• 256 meg memory
• 40 gig laptop for all
• Laptop DVD Drive where the NES cartages would load.
• NFS mounts for MythVideo, MythGame and MythMusic
• Gutted NES for Case, including working power, and reset button, and red light.
  • Working on functioning controller plugs so that MythTV can be controlled with NES controllers.

• 1 gig memory
• Ati Mobility Radeon 9000
• 40 gig hard drive
• DVD Rom
