RHEL6beta2 - ATRPMS Myth build 0.23-235.el5_89_2_bijou20100618_vuvuzela

downloaded a huge number of FC12 SRPMs, mostly from Fedora Distros, some from ATRPMs Here are some key ones:

gnome-lirc-properties
lash - For vlc
libass - For vlc
libebml - For vlc
libkate - For vlc
libmatroska - For vlc
libraw1394-2.0.5-2 - provided versions are broken (plugreport fails)
libiec61883 - paired with libraw
lirc-0.8.6 - compile kernel modules and lirc rpm (most modules lockup, i2c works)
Miro-2.5.2 - Miro 3.x failed to compile, mirobridge works fine with 2.5.2

Custom scripts include

mythipod.sh - provided in mythtv contribs, modified to suit iphone and custom website
mythexpire.pl - customised to work with bugged mythipod.sh that appends .mp4 without removing .mpg first

LSPCI: - The Hauppauge 350 kills ACPI, but I use it for my remote

My MythTV

Fedora 7 ATRPMs install with the following modifications:

Compiled MPEG4IP by applying patches
Custom RPMBUILD of ffmpeg with AMR
Custom RPMBUILD of amrnb and amrwb (Autodownloads AMR files)
Custom SPEC files for ffmpeg and amr[nw]b
Custom /usr/bin/myth3gp
Custom /usr/bin/mythexpire.pl
Had to manually add static ffmpeg libraries (rpmbuild –bc then make install)
Stop nasd service, it conflicts with Darwin
Installed priorities plugin from centos
Custom spec file for mpeg4ip (2 custom patches)
Installed cpufreq package to control fan noise (use userspace governor with 66% max speed)
Installed darwin streaming server (Only works with quicktime!)
Manually compiled the ieee1394 firewire modules (make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build M=`pwd`)
Manually compiled firewire_tester (gcc -Wall -o firewire_tester firewire_tester.c -liec61883 -lraw1394)
Transcode every file to a 3gp in /video/mobile for viewing on cellphones (uses ffmpeg with static libraries compiled in called ffmpeg3gp)
Manually compiled firewire_tester from SVN, used to reset firewire bus at startup
latest ivtv drivers from v4l to fix closed captioning problems
XvMC causes stuttering and sound problems with current ivtv drivers and/or v4l drivers
