I was not able to put it in 1080i or 1080p under X. It works indeed in Windows XP with 1080i30 but who cares. I tried the powerstrip method to get it working under X but my xorg under openSUSE 10.1 and 10.2 keeps displaying the 1360x768 resolution!!! Weird.
I use a 2 screen configuration what I found very practical: I can work on the second monitor while the mythTV is on the Acer.
The tries toward the 1920x1080 are commented.
