MythNews is a module which permits the user to follow their favorite news sources, available in RSS (Really Simple Syndication) format.

Custom Newsfeeds

URLs to syndication links are stored in

/usr/share/mythtv/mythnews/news-sites.xml

Edit them with a simple texteditor and superuser rights.

MyhthNews will store it's downloaded newsfeeds in

/home/mythtv/.mythtv/MythNews

Make sure it exists and set the permissions to the myth user and group.
