I wanted mine to look more like MythMusic and use the Goom visualization so I changed it to use xine (added PLAYER="xine -fg --no-splash -r anamorphic" in /usr/bin/xamp - anamporphic because my tv is widescreen), changed xine to exit with the escape key (so keyboard and remote work the same), changed the xine visualization to goom, and put an escape command in my lircrc file for xine.


Just a quick note about an issue I ran into after installing this mod. It seems that Linux based MPlayer playing an mms stream causes Smoothwall3 to crash/reboot. This is NOT an issue with this mod as such, but an issue apparently with SW3, prior to update2 (update2 has a workaround in place, *NOT* a fix).
