Wiki Page Creation
I accidentally hosed the / partition of my Dapper-Based myth box (long story, but the moral is never blame software for a hardware failure.) While I was restoring from my backups, I decided it was high time to re-write the HOWTO for a kernal version that IVTV is officially supporting.
I am currently combing through the Dapper HOWTO with a fine toothed comb, and will copy/update each section as I finish them.

Slow Updates
Sorry it's taking so long to write this page. I've run into some problems IRL (car's dying) that are cutting into my hacking time. If anyone would like to help with filling in the blank sections of this WIKI, I'd appreciate it.

--WhyTey 08:27, 6 April 2007 (UTC): Howdy, not sure if you know, but there are some good howto's on the official Ubuntu help pages, written by the creator of the official Ubuntu packages. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MythTV Don't want to stop you doing a good job, but it may be better to make one *great* resource than many 'okay' ones ;)
Looks like your doing a good job, Ubutnu wiki also has similar howto's including a pvr-350 howto:
any info you have to add to those wiki's would be awesome, even a link back to this page would be great...
keep up the good work

Good work on the LVM stuff, but... using storage groups is now the preferred way...
