Description

This card is for receiving DVB-T (terrestrial digital) transmissions.

This is a full-height PCI card. It has input for an RF connector. There is a Jumper on the card which enables active aerial support (5V) on RF connector. This allows operation of some active antennas without an extra power supply for the antenna.

Firmware

The card needs a firmware file in the hotplug/firmware directory to work under Linux. It uses the same firmware as WinTV Nova-t (older version). The firmware can be extracted from the ttlcdacc.dll of the windows driver.

Under SUSE 10.0 YaST extracts the firmware from the dll when the card is installed. Only the dll Version 2.16 works here. This firmware, version 2.16, is also downloadable from the VDR project site of the german computer magazine c't.
