I work for Novell, but not on the OpenSUSE project. I work in internal IS&T as one of the linux and NLD "Subject Matter Experts". I home to contribute some stuff to the docs here, and help make OpenSUSE better and better.

My Life at Novell

I work for Novell, but not on the OpenSUSE project. I work in internal IS&T as one of the linux and NLD "Subject Matter Experts". I home to contribute some stuff to the docs here, and try to to a little to help make OpenSUSE better and better.

Brief Bio I started working at Novell in November 2003 as a contractor with a view to help the internal IS&T guys get up to speed with linux internally. Then a couple of weeks later, Novell announced the purchase of SuSE..... In April 2004, I was offered a permi position and took it.

Before then, I have contracted for Sun Microsystems, Broadvision, EDS, Oracle, Royal and Sun Alliance, Friends Provident and Midlands Electricity. Quite a list of UK blue chips there !

Other Stuff

I've also contributed some (not finished) docs on getting myth working with SUSE, and have ported some myth RPMs from redhat. http://www.mythtv.org

I am also a contributary author on an upcomming O'Reiley book on SuSE linux. (hopefully out at the same time as 10.1 )
