Issues and Problems

The antenna in connection is supported in IVTV proper as of the 2.6.22 kernel with the following options in your modprobe.conf or similar module configuration file:

options ivtv cardtype=16

Sound, tuner and mpeg2 hardware works well. On MythDora 4.0, mythsetup will recognize the card as a PVR-150.

FAQs

The card requires the v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw firmware to load in your /lib/firmware (or similar) directory. Note that the firmware may not load correctly if the computer is restarted. The card seems to like a cold restart (turning off the power supply for 30 seconds prior to restart).
