iPhone or iPod Touch

MyMote (iTunes App Store)

Features:

  • Remote layouts are dynamically updated with the layout pertinent to the current task, such as watching TV or videos, navigating menus, or viewing the weather.
  • Remote layouts may be changed to fit any usage scenario. Buttons may be added or removed, and most MythTV keys are supported.
  • Remote buttons may be resized.
  • LIRC buttons can send LIRC events to the lircd daemon running on the backend.
  • Adjustable button repeat rate.
  • Backends may be found using UPnP and frontends are determined from the backend. Backend addresses may also be manually added.
  • An interactive program guide lists shows at any time and allows for switching to live TV and/or changing channels. Channel icons are supported.
  • The iPhone OS Auto-Lock (sleep) may be disabled.

Features:

  • Remote layouts are dynamically updated with the layout pertinent to the current task, such as watching TV or videos, navigating menus, or viewing the weather.
  • A listing of currently live TV shows by show name, channel, or activity level. Show times may be viewed, and the current channel can be changed to the show. An IMDB search of the show is also available.
  • A list of recordings with the ability to perform an IMDB search or to start watching on the frontend.
  • Channel names may be entered and icons may be pulled from the iPhone OS photo library.

Mythmote allows you to control MythTV frontends through a network connection. Features include multiple frontend management, jump points, commercial skip and keyboard input. NOTE: Must have a functional mythtv setup and mythfrontend network remote control enabled.
