THANK YOU for this writeup. I've been looking at getting this module going and haven't had much luck with it. I'll give it a shot again and add in any comments I have.

Almost have my bt878 card working with this...
I have lots of problem capturing sound with my Ubuntu 8.10/AMD64(32bit mode) and my bt878 card. I am trying this out, and appear to have capture a sound file.
