Extra audio buffering

Default Setting True
On Page Description Enable this setting if MythTV is playing "crackly" audio and you are using hardware encoding. This setting will have no effect on MPEG-4 or RTJPEG video. MythTV will keep extra audio data in its internal buffers to workaround this bug.

Sound through PVR350 Only option

Default Setting Off
On Page Description Copy the description on the page Here
Detailed Description and Comments Short: Switching this PVR350InternalAudioOnly option on will prevent Myth from trying to use a sound card and avoid a "can't init soundcard" popup when watching a recording.

Long:

If you are using the line out of the PVR350 directly, you do not need a sound card to hear sound on your TV. In such a system, you do not need a sound card at all. Because Myth will normally try to use a sound card, a system without a (configured) sound card will display the popup message mentionned above. So switching on this PVR350InternalAudioOnly option will disable the popup in such a situation.

If you do have a correctly configured sound card and use the PVR350 decoder for TV out, Myth will not give a popup message regardless of the setting of the PVR350InternalAudioOnly option. However, the sound will go out the PVR350's line out and not to the sound card.

You can loop the sound from the PVR350's line-out to your sound card's line-in. This will allow you to control the volume. However, if you now toggle the PVR350InternalAudioOnly option on, Myth will not control the sound card and will thus not be able to control the volume. So in this case, you would rather toggle this option off.
