Update 1-13-2012

I am using the latest mythbuntu builds from [deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/mythbuntu/0.25/ubuntu oneiric main] and the Ceton device is working without and extra patching or building. Much thanks to Ron and all others that contributed to get this great card working. However CableCARD activation with Comcast is still a painful experience. In the end (a week later) they did manage to get my CableCARD activated.

Update 3-25-2018

I am using Mythbuntu 16.04.4 LTS from [1] and found the PCIe InfiniTV 4 needs to have the drivers from github [2] installed via dkms and an Ethernet network connection added [3].

Update 12-28-2018

I am using Mythbuntu 18.04.1 LTS Server (kernel 4.15.0.xx) with the PCIe InfiniTV 4. The drivers from github [4] are still working when installed via dkms. Visit the link for more details [5]. Ubuntu 18.04 has switched to Netplan, so the you'll need to update your yaml file similar to below.

$ cat /etc/netplan/50-cloud-init.yaml

# This file is generated from information provided by
# the datasource. Changes to it will not persist across an instance.
# To disable cloud-init's network configuration capabilities, write a file
# /etc/cloud/cloud.cfg.d/99-disable-network-config.cfg with the following:
# network: {config: disabled}
network:
    ethernets:
        enp5s0:
            addresses: [192.168.200.200/24]
    version: 2

Once the drivers are working, you should be able to visit http://192.168.200.1 and see the Ceton home page.
