Would this be better served through a categorization structure?

If you are expecting to accrue a large list of these, it would be very easy to make each location an article, and put them in something like Category:Working QAM cable layout. Then, editors wouldn't be required maintain any sorting, and user's could quickly look find the area of the country they are interested in. --Gregturn 17:07, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, that's probably a good idea long-term, but I was gonna wait and see how big the pile got; we can always rediect to a category page, and I don't mind pulling this apart myself if it gets big enough to warrant. --Baylink 17:19, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Point the page to hints on making it work...

I've added a 40-channel chunk for Rogers Cable in Ontario, but can't for the life of me make it work with MythTV. Everything is tunable with Xine or MPlayer.

Could we point the Layout page to some really up-to-date (0.19 or better) how-to's for DVB cards w/QAM?

Click the "What Links Here" link on the sidebar to get to the QAM setup page. If you feel it should be linked to the top page, go ahead and edit and add --Kkuphal 02:01, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

How can I contribute?

I have a working QAM HDHR capture for Austin, TX. I do not have a channels.conf file. Is there a way to create one from my existing mythconverg database?

Aren't these also documented in the Linux TV website here? --Mtrax 22:51, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
