For several years we have only watched TV on my myth box. Our MythTV setup now has a separate backend with lots of storage and power as well as two VIA-based front-ends. It works marvelously for SD and I am experimenting with getting firewire working for HD...
In the past I contributed my asoundrc Via CN400 file for 0.19 but it is now obsolete.
Professionally I am a researcher working with XML at IBM.
