I'm Jason Thompson. I'm a computer programmer for RSI. Often times when I come home from programming, I like to program. I spend most of my time fixing annoyances on my network. Are you bored yet?

Configuration

I use two machines to run my myth system. The frontend is a machine called SPOT. Here's a little about SPOT

• Ubuntu
• Via Motherboard
• Athlon XP 2200+
• 512MB RAM
• 10 Gig Harddrive cannobolized off an old computer
• PVR 350 (Used simply for remote control)
• NVidia GeForce 5600 Graphics
• DVD Drive
• One For All Remote. I bought it at Wal-Mart and it works really good!

Okay, now here's a little about the backend. It's pretty temporary since we've had hardware failors and we're thinking about moving.

• Debian
• Via Motherboard
• Athlon XP
• 512MB RAM
• 2x 200 Gigs Harddrives just for recordings (LVMed)
• 2x PVR 250 MCE cards
• ATI Radeon 9200 Graphics
• Other computer stuff
• No remote?

Projects

I'm not working on anything official right now (except confidential work junk).
