Commercial MythTV Systems
This is a list of companies who sell hardware bundled with a MythTV pre-install or sell uninstalled MythTV-compatible systems.
- GO!COSS! Go open Choose open source software ready embedded systems.
- Note: The low power Cortex-A8 on these systems is not suitable for anything beyond standard definition MPEG2 (such as DVDs)
- Chimera Media Center : New Italian HTPC based on MythTV
- Blacksmith PC (A Mediaimpact Technologies Company) : USA based company selling pre-built MythTV systems. Custom builds are also available. Building MythTV systems since 2008.
Defunct and/or Closed
Stopped as of 2012:
- Better Access : Sold Australian Dragon, a customisable Knoppmyth Reference Platform system. Installation took 13 minutes thanks to customised automation, and upgrades were easy. A published parts list allowed Aus DIY crowd to build their own. (Jan 2010)
- OpenMedia : NZ based company that have developed myPVR, a supported pre-installed MythTV based hardware solution.
No longer sells MythTV boxes (Aug 2015):
