Revision as of 16:40, 12 February 2006

The MythTV Community Portal page will be the central hub for all non-page-specific discussions about the site itself; how it works, how to interact with it best, where it should go in the future, what our policies should be.

We'll be maintaining a list of MUGs around the world, for those of you who want to meet In Real Life, as well. There is also the new-style list of MythPeople. If you were a contributor on the old MoinMoin wiki, your user page is still around here, as an article with your first and last names (probably). We encourage you to register on the new wiki (using the link at the top right), and copy any material that was on your old page to your MediaWiki Userpage (my talk, once you're logged in.

You can see recent changes on only talk pages, or on everything except article pages; this can be especially useful for site-admin type people as it assembles all the meta-type discussions in one place.

Things which need doing

  • The Screenshots page needs to be fleshed out, preferably illustrating the default theme as well as a couple of others, and at least one widescreen.
  • The User Manual sections Mikec has been writing need a copy-edit pass or 3; remember: with enough eyeballs, all grammatical mistakes are shallow.  :-)
