Very interesting. Why do you have to use Calendar to trigger the recording? Could you not use MythTV System Events to fire up HDPVRCapture directly? - pvr4me 2013Jul18

  • You can launch HDPVRCapture, but you have to convince it to start recording. It doesn't have a command line interface and I found scripting button presses to be impractical.
