2.5mm Extention Cable

I spent quite a lot of time looking how to extend the ir receiver from my Hauppauge Nova T 500 across my room to my tv and i thought it might be worth mentioning that the simplest and most cost effective way i found was to use a pair of 2.5mm male to female stereo extension cables.
