I think it's great that there's a section telling us how obsolete the instructions are and that they should be taken with a grain of salt. But how obsolete are those RPM patches? And what of those of us not running an RPM based distro? I'm running gentoo ebuilds that had hdhr changes made to them back in February. Are these the same changes as made via the RPMs? Configuring with MythTV
I adjusted the description to point users to Schedules Direct since zap2it is now obsolete. However this section still needs a lot more cleanup to walk through the process correctly, and get the Schedules Direct listings to map to the ATSC channel numbers. I'm still fine-tuning this process myself and don't yet feel 100% comfortable in giving much advice on this. - Viridari 15:55, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

New DVB-T version
A new version of the HDHomeRun which captures DVB-T is due Q1 2008 (see SiliconDust's website). Will this work straight away with the current integration or will some tweaks be required? (1) Output format. e.g. vis a vis homework / many usb atsc which puts out raw feed, so 8GB/hr, or mp4/h.264 as do some usb atsc. i.e. If 8GB/hr, if equivalent mp4/h.264 hardware is out there, perhaps a better choice.
