Hello,

 I follow the tutorial for ubuntu to get the remote and the VFD works. When I type $ ls /dev/l* I only get /dev/lcd0 and /dev/lirc0.

My vfd is working properly: echo "hello" > /dev/lcd0 works! but my remotes is working only like a mouse: the padand right/left click works but even any else button!

 I checked my lircd.conf and conpare with cat /dev/lirc0 | xxd that's all right! I have seen that if it start or not lircd it doesn't change any thing.... I also notes that irw /dev/lirc0 refuse 

to connect... any idea?
