Regarding the '404 Errors' section: Where should we define that environment variable? What would be the normal/expected path for this? -- surely not '/my/directory/'. Listing the Ubuntu 14.04/16.04 paths used would be helpful, or maybe what filenames to locate on my system to identify the correct path.
I see how it could be confusing. I have rewritten that in a way that hopefully makes more sense.
