Newspaper.jpg ARTICLE - 0.26 beta -- ready for testing

FYI The beta was tagged early this morning.

The beta means we're fairly certain that things will run well on Linux and we're asking for wider testing.

MythTV 0.25, new features, bug fixes and more! Added by cecil 1 day ago

The LinHES team and I are happy to announce the release of R7.3 (Crave).

Newspaper.jpg ARTICLE - Linux Format 159 (July 2012 issue) has a two page review of MythTV 0.25. Generally a positive review although it seems they had problems getting the latest version of Mythbuntu working. They did say the oldish hardware they were using probably didn't help. Anyway to sum up, they gave it the following score:- Features 10/10 Performance 10/10 Ease of use 2/10 Documentation 10/10

"It's an awesome piece of software - if you can get it installed." Overall rating 8/10.

Download.png RELEASE - LinHES R6.03.00 is available for download since 6-June-2010. LinHES R6.03.00 includes MythTV 0.23-fixes and many other fixes. As advised by Cecil Watson "if you are running an earlier release of LinHES to upgrade, simply: sudo pacman -Sy linhes-scripts then sudo upgrade_linhes.sh".

LinHES "is an attempt to provide an appliance that flows in its look and feel, through the same libraries as MythTV, from install to configuration to daily use, thanks to its graphical installer and Service Menu", according to Cecil Watson. It is based on Arch Linux. --Golffies 01:06, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
