BLOG - Jeffery Swan has started a blog about his Ultimate MythTV system, which seems worthy of the title to me... I despair of describing it succinctly, but it has 10TB of storage, a 24-port GigE switch, and something like 20 machines attached to it, along with 8 security cameras....
REVIEW - Matt Hartley compares MythTV to LinuxMCE and throws in the topic of capturing digital cable. He likes how the MythTV community has bent over backwards to support capturing content, and indicates it is MythTV or nothing for the time being. --Gregturn 15:33, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
RELEASE -- MythTV v0.20.2 has been tagged for release today, Friday 24th August 2007 (GMT). The official release announcement and download links will follow shortly. This bug fix release includes support for the new Schedules Direct service which replaces Zap2It. For a list of changes and bugs addressed by this release see the changelog at Release Notes - 0.20.2 and Release Notes - 0.20.1 --GBee 18:25, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Note - The version 0.21 preliminary release notes are getting a bit long in the tooth; presumably whomever was working on them has gotten busier. If anyone's looking for something to do on the wiki, reading the svn updates and updating that page'd be cool. :-) --Baylink 18:32, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
FLASH - Tribune Media/Zap2It announced they're discontinuing Data Direct listings just in time for the new TV season; details everywhere. The developer team is working on a possible solution; updates will be here. --Baylink 15:37, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
PRESS - Slashdot links to a three-part screencast of the installation, configuration and setup of MythDora 4, running atop Fedora Core 6. "If you have had problem installing MythTV in the past due to hardware compatibility issues, it might be time to give it another chance." --Baylink 02:37, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
PRESS - PC Magazine Nederland has written (in the Dutch language!) two articles about MythTV: Mediacenters onder Linux (1) Uw eigen Personal Video Recorder and Mediacenteroplossingen onder Linux (2) Uw eigen Personal Video Recorder. --Michel 16:43, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
PRESS - Time Magazine runs an article on that newfangled box you can stick next to your TV set. The device is the VCR. The date? Christmas 1984. --Baylink 18:05, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
