Current Version

Not that anyone is reading my page, but I'll do my part to help with versioning:

This is the version that all of the below listings are based on.

mythmaster

  • Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
  • 1GB RAM
  • 1TB Storage (Device: WDC WD10 WD-WCAU4639 Version: 01.0)
  • Onboard AC'97 Audio
  • FireWire for future expandability
  • Digital audio out for future expandability
  • Custom patches (generated by me) to allow for 3 different V4L card types, so that I can compensate for the different audio capture rates of the above capture cards in my recording profiles (Gossamer Thread). This won't be needed when .22 comes out, as I removed the Hauppauge WinTV-Go from the system due to it just really sucking.

Notes

Pinnacle PCTV HD USB Pro Stick

My steps to get this stick working with Slackware 12.0, 2.6.24.3

 hg clone http://mcentral.de/hg/~mrec/v4l-dvb-kernel
 cd v4l-dvb-kernel/linux
 cp -ar * /usr/src/linux
 cd ..
 make
 make install
 reboot

The modules em2800-dvb and em28xx are automatically inserted at boot. Run mythtv-setup and add the card as a USB DVB device and scan for channels!
