About me

While my first attempt to build a mythtv box was just 'another try of potentially funny software' I am currently using a fully customized box in my living room. Simply because using the old-fashioned TV with its own built-in tuner is like living in the middle ages :-)

The WAF is high, maybe too high :-| as my girlfriend now 'owns' the MCE remote for this system...

My contributions so far are about TV-Out configuration. I did not find the needed information in this wiki so far, so I decided to write it myself now I have got it working... Recently I have written many updates about Hauppauge TV capture cards as that brand is what I have experiences with. See Hauppauge PVR-150, Hauppauge PVR-500 and Hauppauge WinTV-Go.

Please note that I live in the Netherlands, so examples in configuration files may contain local information!

If you have any questions about configuring TV output I may have some time to answer them: michel at vlet dot net
