Response- I had all kind of issues trying to get the freebsd version to load correctly on a freenas/nas4free installation. A lot easier to just run it in a VM with virtualbox. A lot less issues when upgrading as well. Plus I'm more comfortable with the linux variant.

You actually get all that on ClearQAM? I may have to rescan up here in NKY. Last time I did so, it was just the locals.

MythTV on VirutalBox Mythbuntu on FreeNAS

What for? MythTV runs just fine on FreeBSD directly, and if you wanted to maintain the isolation you get with a VM, you could stuff it into a Jail.

Response- I had all kind of issues trying to get the freebsd version to load correctly on a freenas/nas4free installation. A lot easier to just run it in a VM with virtualbox. A lot less issues when upgrading as well. Plus I'm more comfortable with the linux variant.
