- Seems to be a FAQ recently -- current CVS is able to use these rather spiffy hardware encoding cards for watching "live" tv and doing scheduled recordings. The only really major thing missing right now is you can't seek around during playback, but that'll be coming as soon as I write a tiny bit more code.
