The AVerMedia PVR-150 Plus is a Hardware MPEG Video capture card, similar to the Hauppauge Win-TV PVR cards.

Issues and Problems
The antenna in connection is supported in IVTV proper as of the 2.6.22 kernel with the following options in your modprobe.conf or similar module configuration file:
options ivtv cardtype=16
Sound, tuner and mpeg2 hardware works well. On MythDora 4.0, mythsetup will recognize the card as a PVR-150.
FAQs
The card requires the v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw firmware to load in your /lib/firmware (or similar) directory. Note that the firmware may not load correctly if the computer is restarted. The card seems to like a cold restart (turning off the power supply for 30 seconds prior to restart).
